Infant Program

Foundations accepts children starting at the age of 6 weeks. Foundations realizes that a family’s decision to place their child in care is difficult. Our main goal in the infant room is to ensure that all children’s needs are met and exceeded. At this point in a child’s life they need love and stimulation. Our goal is to bond with each child on a different level.

All infants will participate in gross motor, fine motor, sensory and communication activities each day. In order to open communication with each family, you will know all activities your child participated in via the My Day at School infant sheet. The My Day at School sheet will also let you know when your child slept, ate and their diaper schedule.

Foundations requires each family to supply diapers, wipes, diaper cream and all food. At this stage of your child’s life our teachers need to take all direction from the parents. Each family will instruct the teachers when their child should eat and sleep. We believe it is important that we feed your child only foods that you have introduced and would like them to eat.
